Training Events

Neshomo run a number of different training events:

We run mental health workshops for members of the community to raise awareness, inform and educate. These workshops can be for people who are experiencing their own mental health difficulties to learn practical techniques to help them take control of their difficulties. The workshops are also helpful for people who want to know how to support other people with mental health difficulties – whether it be a family member, friend, colleague, employee or student etc.

We also put on training events that are directed to professionals who work in mental health. These events help to increase knowledge about conditions and interventions used as well as learn about different perspectives in the field.

Lastly, we are keen to provide training for our dedicated team of befrienders that helps to support them in this role.
